A Jubilee Year to receive spiritual rewards for faith endurance and service by Rabbi Curt Landry

This year 5787, in the Hebrew calendar, is the year of the crown and the sword. Rabbi Curt Landry, brilliantly and courageously, shares how we come into God’s rewards during this season, 1 Peter 2:9.

”But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

Rabbit Landry focuses on, being a Priest to Christ and people. As we focus on being a Priest, the Kingly authority follows. This is the emphasis in Rees Howells’ life, and the emphasis of our teaching on intercession.

As we mature in Christ, becoming more like him, becoming more Priestly, there is an increase in anointing and power of the Holy Spirit. One of my burdens for the Western Church is, very little emphasis on being godly, being like Christ or being a Priest before God and man.

Rabbi Landry cuts through all this and makes it clear, sin separates us from God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Rees Howells, was a excellent example of the power of the Holy Spirit. As Rees Howells put off sin and disobedience, he gained power to change the nations.

It was not a gift Rees Howells had, but the grace of God in his life. This is something available for all Christians, if we are willing.

In “Our Story”, I share the principles which the Holy Spirit taught Rees Howells. These principles are timeless, proven and essential for the normal Christian life. Rabbi Landry shares about the blessings, coming to those walking uprightly this Hebrew year, 5787.

If you missed this time slot, and are reading this long after I posted the blog, do not worry. God is a merciful God, who loves to bless his children. Seek God with a humble heart, putting off sin and disobedience and you will see God’s favour in your life.

We are not perfect, but we know our goal, which is to pursue God, until Christ is formed in us. We are not there yet, but this is what the Bible teaches and this is our focus.
