This is a must read for all who want a conservative government in NZ. Don Brash, former National and Act leader, shares a more extensive view of New Zealand’s MMP voting system. He shares clearly, how conservatives can win big, if they vote strategically in the upcoming 2026 election.
After experiencing the previous, destructive and extreme left wing outfit, it will take another 30 years for the economy to recover(PM Luxon). We do not want this to happen, ever again.
There is a very real danger, of an extreme left wing government coming into power in 2026, if people do not vote strategically. Remember, this is not about the person, this is not about the politics, this is about the purposes of God.
“This is not about the person,
this is not about the politics,
this is about the purposes of God”
National is very strong in Electoral votes, so won’t get any extra Party seats. This has never happened before. Therefore voting for National as a preferred Party, would be a wasted Party vote, handing the extreme left a possible election win. I shudder at the thought.
Therefore Don Brash’s advice is: voting National in your electorate, ensures National wins their maximum number of electoral seats. Then a Party vote for NZFirst or Act, will ensure a right wing, more conservative coalition government wins. Thus pushing out the extreme left.
Don Brash continues: In all electorates it is unlikely NZFirst will win any electorate seats, and Act will only win Epsom and Tamaki. Therefore an Electoral vote for NZFirst, or Act apart from Epsom and Tamaki, would be a wasted Electoral vote. (watch video)
However, voting a Party vote for NZFirst or Act will ensure a right wing, more conservative coalition government wins, pushing out the extreme left.
Once governments become extreme, left or right, there are serious consequences. New Zealand’s economy was destroyed under the previous Labour government. Because they ignored advice to end the destructive lockdowns(The Second Royal Commission on Covid) the economy was destroyed.
Places, like Sweden, Florida and South Dakota, did not lockdown. They followed proven pandemic responses, so did not suffer the devastating economic losses. The people behind this extreme response plan are repeating the same strategy. New Zealand can not afford such mistakes again.
PM Chris Luxon says, it will take 30 years for New Zealand’s economy to recover, under current GDP rates! New Zealanders do not feel better off financially under National, but this will not change for some time to come.
It will take many more years before there is a significant impact on people’s pockets. We need to persevere, electing governments who know what they are doing, avoiding idealistic extremists who will destroy the economy and the country.
Many people feel, no matter which party they vote for, the government does the same. This is largely true. I was very disappointed at National and the Act Party’s response during covid. They were the opposition Party, so should have said and done something to prevent the destruction.
There was plenty of evidence available from February 2020, to question the wisdom and science government’s were following. Governor Kristi Noem, examined the science and did not lockdown. South Dakota prospered during the pandemic. So did Sweden, Florida and others.
NZFirst at least spoke up, questioning some of the policies. From a moral point of view, conservatives generally vote along biblical lines. So better to have a more righteous Party leading the country, rather than an extreme left wing Party!
Kiwi’s, vote strategically this election.
