When Ps. Tak Bahna talked with Ps. Banning Liebscher about the Church in New Zealand, Ps. Tak shared something amazing which will encourage every New Zealander.

Someone shared with Ps. Tak, that the revival coming to New Zealand will be like the Welsh revival. The Welsh revival is considered by many, the most spectacular revival in Church history. The whole nation was transformed.

Crime went to zero so the local police closed office, formed quartets and sang in the Churches. The horses bringing coal out of the mines had to be retrained. The men no longer swore, so the horses could not respond to their owner’s commands. Now that is transformation!

I also love Ps. Tak and Ps. Banning’s focus. They agree, the Church in New Zealand must focus on consecrating themselves and living godly lives. These are keys to transforming and healing nations, 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Ps. Banning says some of the best Pastors he knows are in New Zealand. New Zealand reminds him of Wales, a testimony and a lab of what happened in Wales. He believes what God does in New Zealand, will inspire Churches worldwide.

It can spark what God can do throughout the world. He believes the nation is strategically set up to facilitate this. This is why it is so important and why we must take this responsibility seriously.

What God does in New Zealand will inspire Churches worldwide

Often, non-Christians have said, New Zealand looks like a laboratory for the world’s extreme agenda. What comes first in the natural then comes in the spiritual. Ishmael comes before Isaac. God’s desire is for New Zealand to be an Isaac, not an Ishmael. We can make this happen and inspire Churches worldwide.

I suspect God is giving New Zealand this honour, because of the brave Australian and New Zealand (ANZAC) soldiers, who fought in WW2. Three hundred young men, stormed the mountain in Ramalah, routing out the Turks. Six hundred Turks were killed, 1,600 taken captive and the rest fled.

On their way out, the Turks saluted the brave ANZACS. The Turks and ANZACS saw angels, going up the mountain side with the soldiers. From the beachhead in Ramalah, the British were then able to take back Israel.

Ps. Banning also noticed unity amoung NZ Pastors. He noticed the depth of this compared to the States. Rick Joyner in his vision, “The Final Quest” says, this is the first step to the Church coming to maturity. When the Church is mature, it can then overcome the evil.

Ps. Banning continues, at the beginning of a national move, God wants people to separate themselves to him, to meet with him and show repentance. God first invites a remnant. We always see the end result, but revival has always begun with a remnant.

Ps. Tak shares, in the 1840’s 85% of Maori became Christians. The first mega Church in the South Pacific, was in Auckland and grew to 5,000 people. He believes revival is in New Zealand’s DNA, and New Zealand is moving into this DNA.

Ps. Tak also notices a shift amoung the youth. Ps. Banning says Jesus is hard core. What Jesus wants to see is radical intimacy, not a life of duty or obligation, but a life sold out for Jesus. He sees this in the youth.

Ps. Tak’s Church is focusing on repentance for two years. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is a key scripture in Church Unlimited, and their Church prayer meetings are growing in number and intensity.

Be encouraged and watch Ps. Tak’s talk until the end.
