This is the final week to prepare for our first, online intercession. The focus, the midterms. Polls are not looking good for the Republicans to hold Congress, but God’s promises are for a Republican win(Hank Kunneman). Ezekiel lost every battle, except the last. Republicans may have everything against them, but they only have to win the election. We will be praying to make this happen.
The key to winning the midterms, is God’s people. Christians must wake up, then get out and vote. So this will be the focus of our intercession. It is essential Republicans hold Congress, and better still, grow their slim majority.
This is not about the politics, this is not about the person, this is about the purposes of God
We will be praying strategically, focusing on the five swing States and Churches within these States. We will pray for Pastors to motivate their members to get out and vote. We will also pray for the organisations, mobilizing people to get out and vote.
General prayers are like shot guns, little pellets hitting all over the enemy. Focused strategic prayers, are like patriot missiles with lazer like accuracy, killing the enemy. We will focus on one thing, that God’s people get out and vote.
At present, winning the midterms looks impossible. So we must be strong in faith, believing for God’s promises to come to pass. Everything we receive from God we receive by faith, James 1:6-7. Doubt or waver, and we lose the promise.
To prepare for this intercession, I recommend reading “Preparation for Online Intercession Part 1 and Part 2” and the blog, “Why we pray so long!”. These will help you understand, why we pray the way we do.
We will be praying for three hours. Most Christians, have never prayed this long for one topic. For national and critical situations, this kind of focus gets results.

Intercession for the midterms is, Tuesday 17th of March, 7pm to 10pm CT, Wednesday 18th at 8am to 11.00am SGT and 1pm to 4pm NZT.
