A slim win for NZ conservatives voting strategically

NZ's winning election strategy, vote NZFirst or Act for your Party vote

I wrongly stated conservatives can win big, by voting strategically in the 2026 election. After reading another blog by Don Brash and one by Peter Williams, I find conservatives will only win by a small margin by voting strategically.

According to current polls, all of which give similar figures, National will get far fewer seats in Parliament this time round. The only way to have a conservative government in power, is for NZFirst and Act to gain the maximum number of Party votes.

Hence National and conservatives must vote strategically. Following this strategy, conservatives will have small majority in Parliament, with 65 seats. Peter Williams crunches the numbers. Read more …

If National voters do not vote strategically, there is every possibility of an extreme left government coming into power. 1News assesses two scenarios, and neither are looking good. The extreme leftists become the kingmakers. Read more …

PM Luxon and former PM Key claim, voting strategically is not a good idea because National will lose some good people. Sadly this is true, but if we follow the facts, the extreme left will become the kingmaker, if Party votes go to National.

People who understand the MMP system, are surprised by PM Luxon and former PM Key’s comments. It is important to note, PM Luxon and Key, do not give their reasoning for how National can win. According to Don Brash, Peter Williams and 1News, National will end up in the back seat, along with NZFirst and Act. This is a horrifying idea.

The Act Party will win Epsom and Tamaki, guaranteeing two electoral seats. They are gaining momentum before the election, gaining evern more Party votes than present.

NZFirst is also gaining momentum before the election. NZFirst may win some electoral seats, so there may be a surprise. Certainly they can also win a good number of Party seats.

Hence, a conservative presence in Parliament is guaranteed with a small majority. When the righteous rule the people rejoice, is a true saying.

When the righteous rule, the people rejoice, Proverbs 29:2

Thirty percent of New Zealand’s small businesses closed down during covid. The reason is clear, Labour refused to take the advice of experts to end the extended, and destructive lockdowns. (Second Covid Inquiry and Freedom of Information Requests)

Labour, under former PM Arden, bankrupted the country by borrowing billions of dollars to counter covid. Then they wasted half of that money on other, unproductive projects.

These had an enormous impact on the economy, which will take 30 years to recover(PM Luxon). National has struggled to improve the economy after the pandemic. People do not feel as though their livelihood, has improved.

All these are working against National. Unless they can pull the cat out of the bag before the election, the results are going to be close for a conservative win. As James Carville(Bill Clinton’s campaign strategist) said, “It’s the economy stupid!”

We saw the destruction caused by the government under former PM Jacinda Arden and deputy Hipkins. Now, we see an extreme left wing Party could become the kingmaker, bringing the same destructive Party’s and policies, back into power. I shudder at the thought!

This is not about the person, this is not about the politics, this is about the purposes of God! God has promised a golden age(Hank Kunneman), and good things for New Zealand.

This is not about the person,

this is not about the politics,

this is about the purposes of God

Let’s keep praying, and believing God’s best for New Zealand. He has promised. The key is God’s people walking uprightly and seeking God’s face for the election. We can do it, if we humble ourselves and pray.

Spread the word about voting strategically with ten friends, and tell them to share with ten friends, keep praying and take your friends out to vote.
